Makil is a stackable chair made of solid wood, based on the traditional café chair. Despite its simple appearance, Makil is the result of the skilled application of bentwood technique. The wood is bent with steam and then left to dry for a long period of time. Members of the Alki team then prepare and assemble it.

Patrick Norguet was born in Tours in 1969. He very early developed his own unique and personnal universe which was off the "Design" beaten track. He met Giulio Cappellini in 1999 with the prototype of the "Rainbow Chair". Today he works with many famous societies such as Alias, Artifort, Lapalma, Flaminia, Fasem, Offecct, Poltrona Frau and now... Alki.
