Alki publishes its manifesto book: "From Oak to Act"

For nearly 45 years, Alki has been crafting furniture. But behind each chair, each table, lies a deeper commitment: the desire to live and work in the region, and the will to help build a more desirable future.

This collective vision is what we set out to capture in words and images in "From Oak to Act". A trilingual manifesto book (English, French, Basque) that retraces the story of Alki: from the founding of our cooperative in 1981 in the northern Basque Country to our most recent creations. It highlights the craftsmanship around solid oak, but also our explorations of bioplastic, textiles, and more.
