Alki’s workshop awarded for its bold architectural vision

Our new workshop, designed by the Leibar & Seigneurin agency, has been awarded the 2025 Trophée de la Construction in the “Commercial and Office Building Construction” category.

Organised by Batiactu and SMABTP, this national award recognises exemplary projects for their architectural boldness, energy efficiency, or innovative design approach. Among more than 215 entries, the project stood out for its unique vision of a production site that is not only high-performing and sustainable, but also deeply human. A meaningful recognition of committed architecture — and of a collaboration that fully embodies Alki’s values.

Based in the Basque Country, Leibar & Seigneurin have been developing a clean, rigorous architecture for over twenty years — one that is intelligently adapted to both the topographical context and the well-being of its users. Their work seeks permanence, balance and stability. With Lantokia, the agency delivers a project that is both bold and carefully crafted, in perfect harmony with our cooperative spirit.

Covering 9,000 m², Lantokia is far more than a workshop — it’s an architectural manifesto. The building follows the natural slope of the land with finesse, captures daylight, and optimises production flows. It is designed to move toward net zero energy, powered entirely by renewable energy and with future solar autonomy. Above all, it significantly enhances working conditions: a bright, calm space, built to last and support our long-term growth.

We set out to create not only an exemplary workspace, but also a place built for the long term — solid, adaptable, and designed to support future generations for years to come.
