Job
You want to participate in the Alki project in one way or another...
During Milan Design Week, Alki invited Franco-Swiss designer Julie Richoz to add her fresh perspective to the co-operative’s know-how: the multi-piece Bibolina Collection is the fun and audacious result.
Playing on the contrast of materials – metal and solid oak – and colours, this collection with its elegant, pared-down lines comprises a chair and a system of tables.
Resolutely practical and functional (demountable, flat-pack delivery, stackable…), this is a straightforward collection by virtue of the logical construction of its products and integrated use of materials. These versatile objects are in tune with the times and will be a pleasure to use… for a very long time.
The collaboration between Alki and Julie Richoz is first and foremost rooted in the Co-operative’s desire to add fresh perspective to its know-how working with solid wood. As for Julie, she wanted to create a solid wood chair and so further explore the realm of cabinetmaking.
Captivated by Alki’s values and its unique traditions, she enthusiastically embarked on this new adventure. The resulting Bibolina Collection, with its delicately elegant lines and subtle finishings, delivers an audacious inventiveness.
