Makil Chair
Upholstered seat
Makil is a stackable chair made of solid wood, based on the traditional café chair. Despite its simple appearance, Makil is the result of the skilled application of bentwood technique. The wood is bent with steam and then left to dry for a long period of time. Members of the Alki team then prepare and assemble it.
Chair in solid oak construction, with a reinforced metal structure under the seat. Seat in wood, fabric, eco-leather and leather. Felt glides.

Patrick Norguet:
Né à Tours en 1969, Patrick Norguet s'est forgé très tôt un univers personnel au-delà des chemins balisés du design. C’est à l’Italie qu’il doit son premier succès, grâce à Giulio Cappellini qui repère en 1999 sa Rainbow Chair, aujourd’hui entrée dans les collections du MoMA. Il crée en 2000 son bureau parisien et dessine depuis lors pour les grands éditeurs et les marques célèbres qui font appel à lui.
