Alki presents Kuskoa M, a new collection designed by Iratzoki Studio. Continuing the story of the Kuskoa collection, created in 2011, this new family combines an oak shell with a powder-coated tubular steel frame and includes a chair, two stools and a bench.Created in 2011 by Iratzoki Studio, the Kuskoa collection holds an important place in Alki’s recent history. It is built around a oak veneered shell, set on a solid oak trestle frame.
Today, Iratzoki Studio introduces Kuskoa M, a new collection combining wood with a powder-coated tubular steel structure. Here, metal becomes a graphic element in its own right, opening up new possibilities for combining the frame and shell. The two can be brought together to create a monochrome composition, animated by the contrast between gloss and matte finishes, or used to create colour contrasts between metal, wood and textile.The collection includes a chair, two stools in different heights and a bench. Each piece is based on the same combination of shell and metal structure. The stools extend the collection to bar and counter settings, while the bench develops the principle across several seats. Together, they make it possible to create different types of seating within the same space.
Kuskoa M has been designed for a variety of settings: restaurants, bars, canteens and kitchens. Through its forms, heights and colours, the collection brings rhythm to interiors while paying particular attention to ergonomics and seating comfort.The shell is available in natural oak, oak stained in Alki’s wood finishes, upholstered on the front, or fully upholstered. The metal structure has its own colour options, independently of the shell. Wood, metal, colours and textiles can therefore be combined to adapt the collection to each project.
